Altadena Eaton Fire
Our hearts ache for those who have lost their homes and irreplaceable treasures. Three of the AW leaders are among those whose homes were lost. AltadenaWILD intends to focus its efforts in 2025 on helping our community heal. We are in discussions about how to make that happen.
For useful information during this disaster recovery -- across a range of topics – please visit recoveryaltadena.com. This valuable website, prepared by the Altadena Town Council, includes information about near-term actions that should be taken by affected homeowners, renters and small business owners. It provides information about water systems, debris removal, and links for immediate help and long-term help. It includes information about making donations. The site also archives recent video briefings by L.A. County officials.
Among the many informational links contained on the website, AW found that one of the most useful is 211LA.org. It includes information on evacuation orders/centers, road/school closures, power outages, and water alerts.
Stay Altadena Strong….and Wild.
