Victor Ving

This month our deep gratitude goes to local artist Victor Ving, designer of our “Keep Altadena WILD” billboard on North Lake Avenue. Victor wanted to do his part to share the importance of protecting Altadena’s foothills, and give back to our community (yet again!) using his incredible skills as a mural artist. Victor’s design was hand-painted then enlarged and printed by Craft Ads Billboards to create this beautiful symbol of community sentiment and pride.

Victor is a former NYC graffiti artist who draws on his street art experience to create meaningful public murals that weave together a community’s local culture, history, landmarks, and nature. Victor and his wife Lisa Beggs’ handiwork includes the classic large letter postcard style of their nationwide Greetings Tour. Victor chose our area to live because of “the ability to immediately escape to our local trails and immerse ourselves in a tranquil natural setting.” We’re so glad to have you, Victor!
